Hyde Park Walk on Wednesday
Wednesday morning we got up bright and early. Marian went running in Hyde Park and I took a long walk. You can see the Queen's Gate entrance into the park, taken from inside the park. The building on the left is Apsley House, the several hundred year-old house of the Duke of Wellington. This is the guy who defeated Napolean at the Battle of Waterloo. The address used to be known as No. 1, London because it was the first house encountered after passing through the Kensington Road tolls. But that was a few years back.
