We walked from Westminster to the Tate Museum, about a mile away. It is on the Thames and some distance from a Tube station. It is a little off the beaten path and so the number of visitors is substantially less than we saw at the National Portrait Gallery or the National Gallery. Of course, both of these are located at Trafalger Square, a meeting point for all sorts of Londoners and tourists. I'll show you a couple of pictures later of the crowds at Trafalger.
The walk takes us through a lovely neighborhood of apartment buildings. A very nice stroll.
