The theater itself is what you would imagine. Seats on two levels, box seats along the walls. But it also has a dome above the stage. The Victoria Palace started as a music hall in the middle of the 19th century but was rebuilt at the turn of the 20th century. It even had a retractable roof, to cool off patrons on a warm summer evening in those days before air conditioning.
