Bath Abbey Ceiling

The vaulted ceiling seen here of Bath Abbey is even lovelier in person. The design is similar to Westminster Cathedral. To think of artisans on scaffolding at these great heights carving these fan vaults is mind-boggling.

As I mentioned, the abbey is very bright inside. 80% of wall space is filled by stained-glass windows.
