Rail Strike Averted

Good news for us, at least.  Business Week reports that UK courts have issued an order stopping the strike because of irregularities such as ballots returned from a work station that burned down last year.
April 1 (Bloomberg) -- Network Rail Ltd., the U.K. owner of train tracks and stations, won a court order preventing four days of strikes that would have disrupted journeys for millions of travelers returning from the Easter break.
That is a relief, I must say, although at the expense of a union attempting to preserve jobs for its members. But, as Washington Irving says,
It is impossible to resist the gladdening influence of fine weather and fair wind at sea
Yes indeed. Sailing along just as in this Winslow Homer painting.
